OCG award for Janine Mayer

Every year, the Austrian Computer Society honors one or two Master's theses by UAS students.This year, Janine Mayer and Johannes Fessler were delighted to receive this award. Janine Mayer's thesis entitled "Volumetric Data Interaction in AR Using a Handheld Touch-Sensitive Tablet" was written as part of the X-Pro project and supervised by project leader Christoph Anthes.

This outstanding work also led to the publication "Volumetric Data Interaction in AR and VR Using a Handheld Touch-Sensitive Device", which was presented by Janine in 2021 at a workshop at the International Conference on Interactive Surfaces and Spaces in Łódź. In addition, Janine conducted a user study during her semester abroad at Iwate Prefectural University in Japan.
